Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the plotlet. iOS app ("plotlet.", "the app," "the service"), operated by the plotlet team ("we," "us," or "our").

By using plotlet. you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Who can use plotlet.

You must be at least 13 years old to use plotlet. By using it, you confirm you meet that age requirement and that everything you tell us about yourself (name, phone, etc.) is accurate.

If you're using plotlet. on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your phone number and login codes private. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

You may have one account at a time. Don't create accounts for other people or let other people use your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you post in plotlet. — your messages, plans, pulses, photos, preferences, and other content ("Your Content").

By posting Your Content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, transmit, and otherwise use Your Content only as needed to operate the app for you and the other people in your groups and plans. We don't use Your Content for advertising, training AI models, or anything outside running the service.

You're responsible for Your Content. Don't post anything you don't have the right to post.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use plotlet. to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm anyone
• Post anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or designed to incite violence
• Spam other users with unwanted content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to plotlet. or other users' accounts
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the app
• Use plotlet. for commercial promotion, lead generation, or political campaigning without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Serious violations may also be reported to law enforcement.

5. Recommendations and event information

plotlet. recommends activities, venues, and events using a combination of curated data, third-party event sources, and AI-generated suggestions (currently Anthropic's Claude). We do our best to keep recommendations accurate and relevant, but:

• Events, prices, and venue details can change without notice. Always confirm directly with the venue or ticket source before showing up
• AI-generated descriptions may contain errors. Use your judgment
• Listing a venue or event is not an endorsement and we are not affiliated with any third-party business or event organizer unless explicitly stated

6. Third-party links and services

plotlet. links to external websites (venue pages, ticket sellers, etc.). Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we're not responsible for what happens on them.

7. The service is provided "as is"

plotlet. is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific event recommendation will be available.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, in no event will plotlet, its operators, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of plotlet., even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim related to plotlet. is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months (currently $0 because the app is free) or (b) USD $50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless plotlet, its operators, and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of plotlet., (b) Your Content, or (c) your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using plotlet. at any time. To delete your account, follow the instructions in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to plotlet. if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. We'll give you reasonable notice when we can.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and (for material changes) notify you in the app. Continuing to use plotlet. after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

If you're an EU/UK consumer, you may have additional rights under your local law that these Terms cannot override.
